    Local spot that has been in the Berkeley area for many years. Note that all items have a cash and card price. Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors. The pasta is always solid and all of the choices are great. Soak up any remaining sauce with the bread. You can't go wrong with Gypsy's.

    Good Italian place in Berkeley. Huge portion, I got the Chicken Alfredo calzone. Talk about a HUGE Calzone! enough to feed 2-3 people. I cut it in half and opened it to show the amazing filling inside. Definitely recommend this place. If you're looking for decent pasta, pizza or calzone this is a great place to enjoy.

    LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THESE BEAUTIES. Omg I have never seen such ginormous yet juicy and steamy calzones in my life. We chose the pesto pasta stuffed calzones and each one lasted us three meals!! Upon dissecting the top layer, the aroma of fresh pesto wafted up and the cheese melted beautifully onto the plate. Even the leftovers were delicious. It's also in such a prime spot of Berkeley; we saw many UCB students walk over for a quick bite before returning to campus. Plenty of seating space, cashier was very nice and explained the menu to us thoroughly.

    I guess a good bang for your buck they charge a $1 extra if you use a credit card. The menu is huge, so come with a dish in mind, many to choose from here. I ordered chicken alfedo add broccoli. I'm not a big fan of the food it's just noodles and homemade sauce??? without herbs/spices. Gained 2 starts for portions, the size is out of control. As for the service, it's a fast-paced environment and was very busy at the time with almost 45 minutes to go. Maybe just maybe I'll be back to enjoy the ambiance and to eat off a porcelain plate.
